Jasper is one amongst the most spectacular locations on earth and a stay at pine bungalows makes it heaven. Each bungalow is equipped with oven, toaster, utensils and the whole property is along the river front. There is lot of space inside the property to walk around leisurely or along the river. You feel very close to nature with an occasional elk grazing just outside your bungalow. Its pretty close to the townside as well. There is no WiFi or TV. Though we were skeptical in the beginning,we ended up enjoying a lot ‚experiencing the peace and quiet of Pine Bungalows. A must stay.

Pine Bungalows is a hidden gem and by far the best value in Jasper. We walked in, saw the cabin and booked immediately. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a riverfront cabin / it was spacious / warm / inviting and so homely. Just what we needed after a long day on the Icefields Parkway. Very quiet, secluded and peaceful. The cabins are pristine and smell of fresh pine. Even an open gas fireplace. The sheets were crispy fresh and the mattresses so comfortable. We loved every minute of our stay. Could not fault a thing in our cabin. Highly recommended and just 2km from town on the Athabasca River. Home away from Home. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It was excellent service. Nicely decorated cabin. Nice not to have any internet,
TV> Very Peaceful. Caught in my reading. Had a great view of the river. Would stay there again. Could make your own breakfast. Watch the wildlife in the area.
Everything was re-done or renovated. We enjoyed very much.

Peaceful and Private Getaway”

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. It is set about a mile from the town, but there are walking trails into town and along the railroad track. We walked the mile into town each morning for breakfast. The staff was helpful and provided a daily newspaper. We had our own bungalow and the front door was at the back of the house, so it was very private. It was rustic, clean, and peaceful. The cabin had a little fridge and an electric fireplace. Bring your mosquito repellent for the evenings. The property has benches right by a big river. We wold definitely stay here again.

Renewing retreat in nature”

My wife and I spent a couple of nights here with 7 other friends from the US, all seniors, with whom we visit national parks each year. We stayed in 3 of the 2-bedroom bungalows, which easily accommodated our group. The bungalows are simple, clean, and in good working order. Pine Bungalows is situated in a stunning natural area, along the banks of the Athabasca River, about a 5 minute drive to the town of Jasper. When we arrived, elk were wandering around the grounds. This place has won national awards from the Canadian government and from Parks Canada for its ecological values and wildlife friendly policies. Staff and owners were friendly and helpful. One of the charms of the place is that there are no TV, phones, or internet in the units, encouraging those who stay here to enjoy the quiet and natural beauty of Jasper National Park. We left feeling thoroughly renewed.

We stayed 3 nights in a cabin. They are basic but very clean and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen. The setting is peaceful and quiet and a great place to see wildlife. No wifi in the cabins, but available outside the main lodge building. It was not luxurious but had everything we needed and in this very touristy town it is great value for money.

It is difficult to find reasonable lodging in this resort town so finding the Pine Bungalows was a treat. The owner is not just remodeling the old cabins he is totally rebuilding them. Our cabin, located along the Athabasca river, was large, full kitchen, everything new including a bathroom tiled floor that was heated. Heat supplied by a thermostatically controlled fireplace.
The location along the river is perfect and only a few minutes drive to the downtown areas. No TV or Wi-Fi was our only disappointment. (Wi-Fi available near conference center)
If you go ask about the new rebuilt cabins especially along the river as they have the best views available.

Stayed here for three nights in a riverfront log cabin. There was no TV and no Wi-Fi, which was great. Location was 2 minutes drive from Jasper town. What can I say, if you want a peaceful couple of nights away, this is the place.
Room Tip: Chalet on the riverfront is fantastic

Brilliant location, nice and tranquil
Great sizes cabins, we were in a 4 birth so 2 double beds.
Location is the big seller here & it doesn’t disappoint, right on the river bank & in the woods so lots of wild life about. We were lucky enough to see a bull elk & a female right at the front of our cabin.
The squirrels are amusing to watch, if they feel your a threat they shout at you.
Would certainly stay here again.
