Join Frank Florian, dir­ector of the plan­et­arium and Space Sci­ences at the teluS World of Science – edmonton for a night of star gazing during the peak activity of the summer’s best meteor shower: the perseid meteor Shower. High­lights of the evening will be observing the perseid meteors, the moon, the planets Saturn, mars and neptune, and a host of deep sky objects. a variety of tele­scopes will be set up during the evenings for you to enjoy the wonders of the night sky.

work­shops which involve flute making and World music explor­ation.
Janina is a nat­ur­alist, edu­cator and musician from grande prairie, alberta.
the Flute making Workshop involves indi­viduals making their own native
american Style Flute in a minor. there is also the option of dec­or­ating them and
related flute playing lessons, song resource sheets and flute care.
