Pine Bungalows – COVID 19 – Update – April 2nd

To our loyal guests, thank you for your patience as we navigate this global disruption. We are very proud of our Nation and its ongoing response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Jasper as a community as well as Jasper National Park have reacted quickly and decisively to the Novel Coronavirus and we continue to abide by Federal and Provincial mandates and regulations in the spirit of “flattening” the spread.

As a small, proud and fiercely independent business we have been working initially to protect and safeguard the health and wellness of our staff. Now we can refocus on the daunting task of ensuring that we are able to continue to offer the world-class Pine Bungalows experience for years to come. We have developed a booking strategy which protects our guests vacation investment and will allow us to travel these uncharted waters successfully.

Booking & Travel Updates

Our booking channels have been reopened and we are accepting new reservations for 2020, in addition we have taken the extra step of opening our availability for Summer 2021 as well to assist with travel deferrals. Our current operating window is May 15th, 2020 – Oct 31st, 2020. We are aware of and continue to monitor global travel advisories and restrictions and want to reassure guests that our 72-hour cancellation policy allows flexibility to make travel decisions.

In the event that a booking has been pre-paid or a deposit has been taken for your booking, the deposit will be held as a credit for 2 calendar years, to be applied to a future booking in Summer 2020, 2021, or 2022. The calendar year is May 15th – Oct 31st, 2020, and April 1st – Oct 31st, 2021/2022.

If you booked a reservation with Pine Bungalows through an Online Travel Agent, such as Expedia or please contact the company directly in order to complete a cancellation or change, according to the terms, conditions and policies of that organization.

We will continue the process of following up with guests via email at this time and look forward to having guest service agents available via phone by Wednesday April 1st, 2020.

Pine Bungalows Health & Safety

At Pine Bungalows we pride ourselves on our in-house cleaning policies and procedures. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic we have contracted partners at Eco-Lab to assist in developing and managing a best practice policy that draws directly from recommendations and updates from Alberta Healthy, Health Canada as well as global strategies.

We continue to look forward to welcoming guests for our 2020 season. In the meantime, we remain loyal partners to our community, will continue to follow best practice and protocol and invest in both short and long-term solutions within our direct community as well as our greater community both domestic and international.

Pine Bungalows continues to look forward to hosting both domestic and international guests in Summer 2020. Our current opening date of May 1st remains. Currently the property remains closed for the winter season and as of now there is no staff or guest activity on-site. Our Cabins, rooms and facilities closed Nov 1st, 2019 and have remained untouched since that time, awaiting reopening. In the meantime, all reservations between May 1st and Oct 31st are secure. We will continue to pay close attention to global conditions and changing governmental travel arrangements, as well as international, national and regional updates.

We have been working closely with all government agencies, health authorities and partners to implement best-in-class operating, safety, and cleaning procedures to ensure that we are keeping both our staff and our guests health a priority. We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness to ensure you feel at ease when you visit Pine Bungalows.
